Frank DeLuca Inducted into FADA Hall of Fame

On May 7, 2026, longtime automotive leader and philanthropist Frank J. DeLuca was officially inducted into the Florida Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

The honor recognizes more than four decades of leadership in Florida’s automotive industry, along with a deep and sustained commitment to giving back to the community.

A Legacy in the Automotive Industry

DeLuca founded DeLuca Toyota in 1978, growing it into one of the most respected dealerships in the state. Over a 46-year career, he became known not only for business success but for integrity, leadership, and a people-first approach that left a lasting impact on employees and customers alike.

He retired in late 2024, closing a remarkable chapter in Florida’s automotive history.

In addition to running a successful dealership, DeLuca played an active role in shaping the industry. He served on the Florida Automobile Dealers Association board of directors and the Southeast Toyota Dealer Council, and he was recognized as a TIME Dealer of the Year nominee. He also received the Northwood University Dealer Education Award.

A Commitment to Community

While his business accomplishments are significant, DeLuca’s legacy extends far beyond the showroom. Over the years, he has contributed more than $17 million to education, health care, and community organizations throughout Marion County.

His philanthropic efforts have helped expand access to essential services and improve quality of life across North Central Florida.

One of the most visible examples of his impact is the Frank DeLuca YMCA Family Center, which bears his name. With more than $2 million in contributions, DeLuca helped expand the facility and increase community access.

Through the DeLuca Family Foundation, he and his wife, Angela, continue to support meaningful causes. In 2025, they made a $4 million gift to AdventHealth Ocala to enhance maternal and infant care services.

That same year, DeLuca was named Philanthropist of the Year by the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County.

A Well-Deserved Honor

The FADA Hall of Fame, established in 2023, recognizes automobile dealers who have made exceptional contributions not only to the industry but also to their communities.

“The Hall of Fame recognizes these dealers’ value as corporate citizens and their commitment to serving their customers’ sales and service needs,” said Ted L. Smith, CAE, president of the Florida Automobile Dealers Association.

DeLuca joined seven other new-car franchised dealers as part of the 2026 induction class.

Reflecting on the honor, DeLuca emphasized the people who made his journey possible. “Being inducted into the FADA Hall of Fame is a tremendous honor,” he said. “I’m grateful to be recognized alongside so many respected leaders in our industry. This recognition reflects the dedication of our people and the support of a community that has meant so much to me and my family.”
